About Julie

Hi. I’m Julie. Welcome to my blog.

In December 2010, I received a Master’s in Communication Management from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg Program for Online Communities (APOC). I started this blog as an exercise for one of my classes and just kept going.

Aye Blog is pronounced the same way as iBlog (or could also be pronounced “a blog” — either one works for me). “Aye” am voting “yes” for blogging, technology, a more interesting way of interpreting the “i” prefix, and pirate-speak. I write about current news in tech, social media, the wide world of the world wide web, funny stuff, and other things that I like.

I took a hiatus from blogging while launching MingleBird, a mobile app that makes a game out of introductions, available for iPhone and Droid.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me via the comments section, follow me on Twitter @julie_epstein, find me on LinkedIn and on my more casual Tumblr blog.
